The Power Rangers Movie 5" figures have become available in stores as of today and wave 1 consists of the Black, Pink, Blue, Yellow & Red Rangers as well as Alpha 5. These figures are five inches tall, sold separately and are priced at $9.99 each. These items come in a multi-packs which means if you are going to Target to look for them you will need the multi-pack DPCI which I have been unable to obtain, if you go to Toys R Us you need the "R Web #" from www.ToysRUs.com which is : 010429. This is used to track all figures in the set.

The packaging for the 5" figures is standard with nothing really crazy about it, there is a clear shell plastic allowing you to see the figure in side and the bottom of the package tells you which figure it is. The back of the package shows other figures available as well as coming soon figure silhouettes.
The coming soon section seems to be showing us the following figures from left to right : Rita Repulsa, Unkown Figure, Putty & possibly a putty variant? Take a look at the photos below and see what you think. 
THE RANGERS & ALPHA 5
The figures themselves are fairly well detailed for a 5" figure but lack the joints that would make them part of the Legacy Figure Line. These figures only have a swivel head, shoulder, elbow, hip & knee joints. I persoanlly would have liked an ankle joint since with out it the figures can be hard to stand and pose.
You can get some decent punching style poses out of them though.
The backs of these figures are another story, they lack any detailed painting which can bring down the the figure as a whole. It is strange Bandai would decide to just not continue painting details on the backs of the figures, these are $9.99 each and should at least come with completed paint.
Additionally the Red Ranger comes with his Power Sword but the other Rangers only come with this blue energy thing for their hands. This could be because they still do not want us to see the other Power Weapons or maybe the other Rangers are not going to have weapons at all?
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you are excited for the Power Rangers Movie then these figures are for you! The bad really does not weigh down the figure that much and the price of $9.99 is not bad, costing $60.00 + Tax for the entire wave.
