In a joint statement featured below, Saban Brands & Bandai have come to a mutual agreement to part ways in 2019. This will end a 25 year partnership between the 2 companies that started back in 1993. There has been no immediate decision on who will take the reigns on the Power Rangers toy line after that point. There is speculation that declining sales and issues with the Legacy Line releases were a part of this decision. However these are unconfirmed rumors and should be taken lightly. Bandai of Japan will still be partnered with Toei Company LTD to produce the toys for the Super Sentai series.
"After a successful 25-year partnership building the iconic action franchise, Power Rangers, Saban Brands and Bandai have mutually agreed not to renew their global Power Rangers master toy license agreement, effective April 2019. Bandai will continue to support Power Rangers, including the 2018 commemoration of the Power Rangers 25th anniversary and the current season, Super Ninja Steel. In addition, Bandai, through its partnership with Toei Company Ltd., will continue to exploit toy rights for the Super Sentai series, which has enjoyed over 40 years of success, in Japan and select other Asian territories."
It will be interesting to see what a new company will do with the Power Rangers toy line and how different the figures will be when compared to Bandai of Japan. I am personally hoping that Hasbro is given a chance to take over the Power Rangers line, they do an amazing job with the Transformers line and are great with making larger figures and combiners, to me this is a category that Bandai always lacked expertise in. The Power Rangers Metals Die Cast figures are part of the Jada Toys line. They are 4" tall and will cost you anywhere from $9.99 - $12.99 depending on the figure. Below you can see the Black, Yellow & Blue Rangers of this figure line and also where to buy them!
PACKAGING
The packaging for the Metals Die Cast line is very nice, they are stack able if you want to leave the figures inside the packaging and give you a nice way to display the figures. When removing the figure from the packaging it is important to note that the design of the package requires you to remove the figure from the button not the top. Once free from the outer packaging you need to cut the tape holding the plastic shell to the cardboard. The figure itself is held into the plastic shell with various plastic ties that are twisted in the back of the plastic shell. It can be a bit annoying to untwist the ties but I do not recommend using a scissor for this process, you risk scratching the paint on the figure. The back of the package shows the other Rangers that are available :
FIGURES
Aside from a few missing details such as the weapons missing the Power Coin symbol and the Blade Blasters not being painted these figures really are designed very nicely. The weapons are made of a soft plastic so I urge caution when taking them out of the plastic packaging to avoid bending them. There is also a small pivot joint in the waist which allows you to twist the torso of each Ranger slightly.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Even though they are missing a few details, these Power Rangers figures really stand out and will add to any display you may have. The price is great and paint job is done very well. This is why the Power Rangers Metals Die Cast figures get....

Today a new Power Rangers mobile game was revealed called Power Rangers : Legacy Wars. The teaser trailer is short but shows the new movie Red Ranger fighting the original Mighty Morphin Green Ranger, it then jumps to the Mighty Morphin Pink Rangers fighting the Dino Charge Blue Rangers. The Pink Ranger seems to call for help from a popular villain as Goldar lands on the screen dealing damage to Dino Charge Blue. Power Rangers Legacy Wars is set to release on IOS and Android in MArch 2017. Check out some screenshots from the teaser trailer as well as the full trailer below!

Boom! Studios & Saban Brands have partnered to bring a maskof the mysterious Ranger shown in Power Rangers Issue #9! This mask will be available with the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Issue #11 on January 18th 2017 and will only be available exclusively at comic book retailers.

A few days ago an image appeared on the LEGO Ideas webpage for a Power Rangers LEGO set. If you are unfamiliar with Lego Ideas, here is how it works, anybody can submit an idea with images of what they would like to see LEGO create, these ideas are then posted onto the LEGO Ideas website for public view and need to "Gather Support" once the idea gathers support from 10,000 people then it can move forward to the approval page, this is when LEGO will start to contact the owners of the property in question, in this case SABAN Brands and ask to partner with them to create this LEGO product. It is 100% possible that a LEGO Idea can gather its support but never make it to production because the owner of the property either wants too much money to license the idea or reject the idea all together.
This LEGO Idea is designed to be the Command Center and will include seven Rangers: Black, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Red, Green & White. The set is also designed to include Zordon in his tube as well as Alpha 5, the Rangers helmets can be removed too which is a nice added touch.
However THE RANGERS NEED YOUR HELP! This project can only reach the "approved" phase once is has the support of 10,000 fans! We all know that the Ranger Nation is way bigger than 10,000 people and this should be easy! As of right now The Power Rangers LEGO Command Center has the support of 631 people and 423 days left to reach the 10,000 support mark! All you need to do is create a profile with the LEGO Ideas website, click SUPPORT and answer 5 short questions about the product.  Bat in the Sun posted a new episode of "The Waiting Room" featuring the Black Ranger : Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch) & the White Ranger : Tommy (Jason David Frank). This is not the type of news we like to report on but we felt it is something we should mention. Power Rangers actor Ricardo Medina Jr. was arrested on Thursday 01/14/16 and charged with murdering his roommate Josh Sutter with a sword on January 31st 2015. Reports from the incident state there was an argument between Medina & Sutter revolving around Medina's girlfriend, things escalated and became violent resulting in the stabbing of Sutter. Medina was the one who called police after the incident and Sutter was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ricardo Medina Jr. played Cole the red ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002 and would later return to the franchise in 2011 to voice Deker on Power Rangers Samurai. Medina is set to be arraigned in court on Tuesday 01/19/2016. We will update you with any information we can obtain on this topic going forward. Raw footage of the Megazord fight scene from Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie has surfaced online. There is no sound but it shows multiple takes and how the scene was put together. Its rare to see this surface after so many years but with the new Power Rangers movie on the horizon I bet we start to see more raw footage in the next couple of months.
