PACKAGING
The packaging for the Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord is done extremely well, the front box art is amazing and the back gives you a brief description of each Dinozord and the features that have been detailed into them as well as a quick history of the figure.
Seriously look at this box art! I want this printed and hung on my wall!
The Dinozords are kept safe inside of a styrofoam casing, wrapped in a plastic and covered by a plastic shield.
THE DINOZORDS
Here I am going to break down each of the Dinozords and compare them to the Legacy Dino Megazord since I feel like that the Legacy Megazord falls closest to a higher end Power Rangers figure.
Pterodactyl Dinozord
The Pterodactyl Dinozord has been detailed with diecast parts and when compared to the Legacy figure you can see that there are major differences.
The first major difference between the Tamashii Nations Pterodactyl and the Legacy Line Pterodactyl is the wingspan, the Tamashii design has a significantly larger wingspan than the Legacy Figure. Additionally the Tamashii design actually added details to the top part of the Pterodactyl that the Legacy design chose to leave out. Other notable differences would be the head design and detail, the Tamashii design is significantly less rounded.
The Pterodactyl can still be stood up be using the Tank Modes cannon feature. The Tamashii Nations design features a chrome chest piece and you can really see how the larger wings make this figure look less awkward in this mode.
Here are some additional photos of the Tamashii Nations Pterodactyl that will show some of the additional details this figure has.
Mastodon Dinozord
The Mastodon Dinozord has also undergone some big changes when compared to the legacy Mastodon figure. Tamashii Nations figured out a way to hide those huge opening for the hand pieces, they added 3 points of articulation to the trunk and added details directly from the T.V. series. Unfortunately the Mastodon figure does not spray snow out of its trunk.
As you can see from the pictures above, the Tamashii Nations Mastodon Dinozord his shorter than the Legacy Line Mastodon Dinozord but the Tamashii Nations figure also hides the side hinges, the back is completely covered and the tusks are done in chrome.

The Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord has added articulation in the knees and ankels as well as a movable jaw and neck! The fangs are done in chrome and it is taller than its Legacy Line counterpart.

Tamashii Nations Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord! Triceratops Dinozord
The Tamashii Nations Triceratops is decently larger than the Legacy Line version, Tamashii Nations gave this Zord head and neck articulation and chrome horns. Additionally they detailed the claws/feet of the Triceratops instead of using solid plastic like the Legacy Line figure does.

Tamashii Nations Triceratops Dinozord.
Tamashii Nations added an awesome feature to the Triceratops Dinozord that was only used in the show a few times. The horns come out on chains to grab and hold onto enemies!
Tyrannosaurus Dinozord
The Tamashii Nations Tyrannosaurus Dinozord is in my opinion the most detailed of the 5 Dinozords, the added articulation as well as design really put this figure on the top of the list for me. Tamashii Nations enlarged his arms when compared to the Legacy figure and they also added articulation in his hips, torso & tail.
The head of the Tamashii Nations Tyrannosaurus is significantly smaller than the head of the Legacy Line version and Tamashii did find a way to hide those awkward knee connectors but putting them inside the red shin pieces.

Tamashii Nations Tyrannosaurus Dinozord.
In addition to the updated design and details, Tamashii Nations also included a place to store the Tank Mode cannons when the Dinozords are not combined! Simply open up the chest of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord and store the pieces safely away!
Power Sword
As expected the Tamashii Nations Power Sword is significantly larger than the Legacy Line Power Sword and has added details and chrome finish giving it an amazing look!
TANK MODE
Tamashii Nations really spent time figuring out how to combine these 5 Zords into Tank Mode, they hide the extra pieces well and close the gaps that are seen in the Legacy Line version.

MEGAZORD MODE
When placed side by side the Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord & the Legacy Line Dino Megazord stand at approximately the same height. However the differences between the two figures are fairly obvious, the Tamashii Nations (left) has smaller shoulder pieces, a smaller head, larger back gannon pieces, chrome chest piece, actual hands and the Sabertooth Tiger & Triceratops pieces are notably larger giving the Tamashii Nations version a bit more stability and joint articulation than the Legacy version.

FINAL THOUGHTS
It is hard when comparing a $299.00 collectible to a $99.00 collectible but putting the 2 next to each other really does show how many details Bandai is choosing to leave out of the Legacy Line. The Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord has the attention to detail, articulation and overall feel of a high end collectible. That's not to say the Legacy Dino Megazord is not worth getting as well. However if you are looking for a great figure then the Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord is definitely the way to go. There is no word of if Tamashii Nations will be designing a Dragonzord anytime soon but I certainly hope they chose to make one!
I really have nothing bad to say about the Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord, it is everything I would expect from a high end collectible figure and from Tamashii Nations. That is why the Tamashii Nations Dino Megazord has broken my rating system and gets :
6 OUT OF 5 PUNCHES!
